Healthy Recipes Part 9: Peanut Butter and Oatmeal Omelette

My girlfriend and I kind of just threw this recipe together one breakfast and it really works, its not too heavy and tastes yummy.
Perfect breakfast. Try having it about 1 hour before your morning gym session and power through your workout!


200 ml Egg Whites
30g Rolled Oats
30g Low Fat Creamed Cottage Cheese
1 teaspoon Peanut Butter
1 teaspoon of Splenda


1.Start by mixing Egg Whites, Oats and Cottage Cheese together. Heat a non stick pan and add mixture,
2.As omelette starts to set take off the heat and sprinkle with cinnamon.
3.Put under grill to finish off til slightly golden.
4.Heat teaspoon of peanut butter up on microwave for 30 seconds( we use a little shot glass)
5.Once peanut butter is melted, spread on one half of the omlette,  and then sprinkle with splenda if required and fold over.
6.You can always give it more of a protein kick by adding a scoop of whey protein to the mix.
