Healthy Recipes Part 5: Apple & Cinnamon Oatmeal Muffins


A Great healthy option muffin recipe. good carbs with a protein kick!


1 1/2 cups wholemeal self raising flour

1 cup oats

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp baking powder

3 scoops vanilla  whey protein

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup egg whites

1/2 cup water

2 tbsp splenda

2 tbsp olive oil

2 grated Apples


Sieve flour into mixing bowl and add all dry ingredients and mix with whisk.

In a seperate bowl mix all wet ingredients and then add all together into dry ingredients, finally adding in the apple.

Using a heatproof muffin tray put mixture in and place in oven at 200 degrees for 20 mins.

Makes 6 cafe size muffins.
